NOC's 10x32 Field Tube Review

This is a review for the NOC's Provisions 10x32 Field Tube! Unlike traditional binoculars, it has only a single tube, so you look through it with one eye—like a pirate!

Specs:

The field tube comes in 8X and 10X magnifications. Mine is 10x, meaning it's ten times more powerful than the naked eye. To understand this even more, imagine that the animal you're checking out appears ten times closer to you.

You couldn't ask for a better size, weight, and performance for a casual everyday carry. The new field tube is not only fogproof but also waterproof up to IPX7, meaning it can withstand submersion in water up to 1M deep for up to 30 minutes. It's pretty cool. Right on the bottom are 1/4 20 threads so that you can attach them to any standard tripod plate.

There's an adjustable eye cup for preference and comfort. A pro tip is to leave the eye cup in while using your NOCs with glass glasses.

The best part is how nice it feels in the hand. It's comfortable to hold, and the oversized focus wheel is super easy to operate with one finger. One last note here: the design and colors are fantastic. Seeing something on the market that doesn't look so serious is refreshing, but it still performs well.

My Opinion:

As you guys know, I live in the truck camper full-time, which means minimal space. When it comes to adding anything to my kit, I don't take any decision lightly, even when it's small. Small things add up, and that makes clutter, and I don't like clutter. So, did NOCs make the cut with the Field Tube?

Oh yeah! I love this thing. I always toss it in my pack when I'm going for a hike or in the center console when I'm driving around. Honestly, it's been giving me a reason to go out in the evenings and look for wildlife. In short, I dig it.
